How To Create a Playlist on your Zune

Zune is another portable media player that you can use in storing and enjoying music, videos, podcasts, movies and even TV shows. In other words, it is a platform for the entertainment media that you can customize according to your taste. One way of personalizing Zune media player is by creating your own playlist. With your own playlist, you have easier time selecting your favorite tune or video because the catalog provides a systematic arrangement of the items contained in the media player.

If you are a Zune user and you want to create a playlist, here are the steps:

* Install Zune software. If you already have an existing file, open the program. Media players consume considerable space in the computer hence if your machine has very limited memory capacity, you might as well upgrade it by adding more bytes. Otherwise, shut down all running programs when your Zune player is open to maximize load capacity for the media player.
* Download. Put in songs, videos, television programs and other media items of your choice in your Zune player. However make sure you do not store more than what your computer can accommodate. Overloading will slow down your computer and you might have a problem working with your other systems.
* Categorize. Assign your files before creating a playlist. To do this, create a separate copy of your songs and other media selections. Classify each one according to your preferred arrangement. For instance, sort out all songs by artists. Next, label the artists according to nationality or group. To illustrate - make a separate cluster for R&B artists, metallic rock artists, balladeers, pop idols, divas, and so on. Another way of classifying is by alphabetical order. You can also organize your media files according to genre such as – 60s songs, 70s hard rock, 80s pop culture and the like.
* Navigate. Have fun with your player by going to the options pane. Go to “Playlist” and right click the option.
* Rearrange your playlist. Move the songs and other items in the directory. Label each playlist accordingly. If you have pre-categorized your songs already there should be no problem with this step. You only have to drag the songs to their corresponding lists and you are done. You can actually label your playlists before you commence saving the files.
* Save the playlist. Test if it really works by opening the list and playing some of the songs. If it starts playing, then you have done a wonderful job. You can add more songs to your playlist if you want to update your selection. Include the playlist in your Zune media player. You can play the media player anytime you want – while playing, working or simply lazing around.

Do not forget to sync your Zune playlist to your media player so that the whole catalog will be saved in the software. Also, be a responsible Zune media user by not patronizing pirated media materials. There are a lot of selections on the Internet (many of which are counterfeit) so be wary when picking the media items that you plan to store in your Zune media player. Always look for authentication confirmation before importing the items to your system.
