How to Set Up Bluetooth on an iPhone

Bluetooth is a wireless technology that has become very popular among heavy mobile and computer users. Bluetooth provides a limited range of wireless connectivity that not only allows users to sync between devices or computers, but also allows you to connect external tools. Apple's iPhone comes with integrated Bluetooth, which means you can conveniently and easily use a wireless headset to work with your phone, once you set it up.

1
On your iPhone's home screen, tap "Settings" and select "General." Tap "Bluetooth" and tap the slider to turn Bluetooth on.
2
To connect your Bluetooth-enabled device to the iPhone, turn your device on and make sure it is in discoverable mode. Your device should be within 30 feet of your iPhone.
3
Your iPhone should find and recognize your device. When it does, tap the name of your device on the iPhone screen and select "Pair."
4
Enter the four-digit passcode for your device, which you will find in its user manual. Tap the "Connect" button on your iPhone to finish the pairing process.
