Regardless of how a person uses it, this program is great for recording, editing and compiling music production, music remixes, film scoring and others.

If you enjoy mixing different music together or you love recording your own music then you definitely have to learn how to use the sound busses in Pro Tools. Here is a step by step guide to help you use the sound busses in Pro Tools.

* Open your Pro Tools program. To start using the sound busses in Pro Tools, you first have to open the program. Double-click the Pro Tools icon in your desktop or go to your start menu then click on Pro Tools. Once the program is running, you can now start using the program.
* Make auxiliary busses. To create auxiliary busses, you first have to click on the “Track” option then click on “New”. A new window will pop up and you’ll have to indicate how many new tracks you want to create. For example, you want to make 2 new tracks, type it in the window. After doing so, choose stereo then choose auxiliary inputs. Once you are done, click on “Create” to create the new auxiliary tracks.
* Label your new dialogue tracks. For you not to get confused while working with sound busses, it would be best to label each new track. Click on the name and choose a name for your dialogue tracks to keep you organized while you work.
* Insert the effects. After you are done labeling your dialogue busses, you can now start inserting the effects in your auxiliary tracks. You can add some reverb in your track or you can adjust the track’s volume fader that you have inserted. Listen to the changes before adding new changes to achieve the right effects for your track.
* Send instrument tracks. To insert instrument tracks, click on “Send” for the instrument track. This is where the labels will come in handy. When you send the instrument tracks, you can easily send the track to the auxiliary track’s bus by using the labels that you have clicked earlier.
* Increase or decrease the effect on your track. To increase or decrease the effect of the track, you have to increase or decrease the auxiliary send level of the instrument track. The general rule is the higher you increase the level, the greater the effect and the lower you decrease the level, the lower the effect. Try listening to the track for you to hear the changes in the effect when you change the auxiliary send level.
* Save your work. Once you are satisfied with your output, you can now save you work. Click on the “File” option then click on “Save”. Name your file then click on “OK” to save it.

Pro Tools is a great program to use for editing, compiling and recording sounds. That is why whether you are using this for your profession or for your hobby, it is best to learn how to use the sound busses in the Pro Tools.
